Some of the history recounted in the Bible is graphic. In some sense, this should not surprise us. The Bible is truthful, and we are familiar with our sinfulness. The period of the Judges is marked by Israel’s sinfulness yet also God’s faithfulness, and God raised up a deliver in a time of Israel’s rebellion and oppression. In this lesson, Dr. Thomas recounts how God delivered Israel from the tyrannical rule of King Eglon of Moab though Ehud, judge of Israel.
