Assured of our identity in Christ, we are called to struggle against sin, and we are enabled to do so because we have been made alive through the Holy Spirit. Not only do we see this reality played out in our own lives, but we also see it as it was played out in the life of the Apostle Paul in Romans 7. In this lesson, Dr. Godfrey continues his defense of the Calvinist interpretation of Romans 7 and demonstrates how Romans 8 is intimately connected to Romans 7, giving us hope in our struggle against sin in the knowledge that we are adopted sons and daughters of God.
