Paul was in anguish about his fellow Israelites who had and were rejecting Jesus Christ, and he needed to give an answer that God had not forsaken His covenant people. God’s Word had not failed but was being fulfilled. In this lesson, Dr. Godfrey shows how Romans 9–11 forms a chiasm that explains how God’s purpose with Israel and the ingrafting of the gentiles was all according to plan and was the same message that God had been giving His people about the necessity of faith and humble reliance on His Word.
