What do Satan, pride, and prayer have to do with one another? We find each of these present in the scenario in Luke 22 as we enter a dialogue between Jesus and Peter. In it, Jesus foretells Peter’s denial of Him. As we learn about Satan’s desire for Peter, we find ourselves asking this question for ourselves: Is the Christian safe from the grasp of Satan? In this lesson, Dr. Thomas answers that question as he helps us take an in-depth look at Satan’s desire, Peter’s response of pride, and Jesus’ response of prayer.
