Walking on Water

The story of Jesus’ walking on the water and Peter’s attempt to do the same is a familiar story to many. You can probably recall the events of the story with ease. But have you considered all the lessons about faith that we learn from Peter in this account? Faith is central to the Christian’s life, and Peter’s example of both wavering and firm faith gives us hope in our own journeys of faith. In this lesson, Dr. Thomas teaches us about the tried, fearful, triumphant, failing, and restored faith of Peter.
